What is your background?
I am a corporate trainer and coach and have more than 20 years of training and coaching experience.
The first person in Asia to be certified to teach Mind Mapping by Buzan Centres UK (Bournemouth, 1993), I have conducted more than 1,000 workshops on Mind Mapping, Memory skills and Speed Reading in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok and Hong Kong.
Prior to starting my training company, I was head of technology for Citibank (Investment Banking) and consulting manager with Union Bank of Switzerland.
With a Master in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Engineering, I am also a presentation skills coach, a TRIZ Systematic Innovation practitioner, a certified trainer in systems thinking, and a member of the American Society for Training and Development.
Why does Mind Mapping Inspire you?
At a conference in 1989, I was intrigued when I saw a conference delegate drawing a couple of strange-looking diagrams. When I found out that these diagrams were taught by Tony Buzan, I contacted Buzan Centre UK and was invited to do the certification course in Bournemouth in 1993.
How did you feel the course benefited you?
I find the Mind Mapping technique and the iMindMap software very useful in boosting my work productivity.
How will you use your TLI accreditation
I have been running Mind Mapping workshops since 1994 and will continue to do so. The TLI accreditation has given me an additional tool – the iMindMap software – that I can use in my Mind Mapping workshops.
